Núria Rial〔Albert Torrens, "Núria Rial - Una veu catalana al cor d'Europa" in ''Catalunya música: Revista musical catalana'', ISSN 1136-7458, Nº. 327, 2012, pp. 10–13 "Des que fa més de deu anys es va instal.lar a la ciutat suïssa de Basilea, la soprano catalana Núria Rial s'ha anat fent un lloc, amb discreció però amb constància, al panorama líric centreeuropeu."〕 (born 1975 in Manresa, Catalonia, Spain) is a Spanish soprano. She began her musical studies in 1995 at the Barcelona Conservatory, finishing with a diploma in both voice and piano. From 1998 to 2002, she was a member of the ' of Kurt Widmer at the Music Academy of Basel, where she received a diploma as a soloist.
In recent years, Rial has specialized in the music of the renaissance and baroque eras, such as the works of Handel and Monteverdi. Her repertoire also includes Mozart opera roles, as well as, German, French and Spanish art songs.
